Update, update, so I had a locally-produced(Eat local!) dark chocolate ice cream(Brand: Magnolia, Flavor: Tablea Yema) to satisfy my cravings for the Chocolate Almond Cake that I supposed to bake. Try it! It's really good!!
For the job hunt, no calls received for today but I got to send one application to a seemingly familiar company Haha!
And back to the films. I finished watching "The Whisperer in Darkness", it was okay for me, but it is lacking something like the monster/mystery should have been highlighted more? I don't know, during the last part I suddenly became less interested. But still not dropping Lovecraft, I will still try to see another movie adaptation of his books. Then, I also kind of see "A Clockwork Orange", because I kept on fastforwarding since I got bored on the scenes of nudity. I didn't like the movie. It's safe to say that not all old films are gold. Don't hate me. Good thing, I decided to watch "Zodiac", I got hooked! Fave character was Robert Graysmith, how bad he wanted to solve the Zodiac mystery and the killer turns out to be Leigh all along. Jake Gyllenhaal nailed his character. The movie made me want to see more David Fincher's work though I've seen some already like "Se7en", "Panic Room", "Gone Girl", "The Girl with Dragon Tattoo" and "World War Z". Lastly, done with Scream 1,2 and 3, as expected it was all good! Sid, Dewey and Gale are my favorites(the actors of Dewey and Gale ended up being together in real-life and got separated after 14 years), because they always make it alive at the end of the films. Haha! Planning to watch Scream 4, hope it will be as good as the first 3 films. Adding the late Wes Craven on my list of favorite directors!
Here's a video which has the voice of Arthur Leigh Allen in it and of the ice cream i'm talking about!
